The V-Gard® GREEN Hard Hat is the first hard hat made from renewable resources, combining sustainability with high safety standards. Constructed from green high-density polyethylene (GHDPE), a sugarcane-based biopolymer, it has a biobased content of 95% according to USDA testing. Each helmet contributes to the environment by removing approximately 2 lbs. of CO2 during production. Despite being eco-friendly, it retains the comfort, durability, and protection of traditional V-Gard helmets, featuring a 6-point Fas-Trac® III ratchet suspension. It meets ANSI Z89.1 Class E and EN 50365 standards for electrical insulation and includes integrated GS-ET-29 Class 1 arc flash protection. Additional features such as anti-static assembly, rain channels, and lateral crush protection enhance workplace safety. The helmet is recyclable and can be customized with logos, stripes, and accessories for professional applications.
