About Global Fire Equipment: What Makes This Brand Different

Global Fire Equipment started in 1994 when founder João Paulo Ajami saw a gap in the European market for fire detection systems that were certified to EN54 standards but priced for small and mid-sized buildings. At the time, most EN54-certified panels were made by large multinationals and cost more than a small hotel or retail chain could justify. GFE built its reputation by offering the same certification level at a price point that made compliance achievable for more businesses.

What separates GFE from cheaper fire alarm imports is its certification discipline and system compatibility. The company holds EN 54-13:2017+A1:2019 system compatibility approval, which is not a single-product certification. GLOBAL AW CSD311 CONVENTIONAL PHOTOELECTRIC SMOKE DETECTOR - Conventional photoelectric smoke detector for use with Global fire alarm panels. Operating voltage of 9 to 32 VDC non-polarized. Operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, which covers the full range of Pakistani climates from northern winters to Sindh summers. The photoelectric sensing chamber detects visible smoke particles from smouldering fires, which are the most common type of fire in offices, warehouses and residential buildings. Compatible with standard conventional detector bases. Best for offices, hotels, retail spaces, warehouses and any commercial building with a conventional fire alarm system.

GLOBAL FIRE SOUNDER AND STROBE ALARM DEVICE - Combined sounder and strobe unit for conventional fire systems. The sounder delivers high-output audible warning while the red strobe provides visual alert for noisy environments, hearing-impaired occupants or brightly lit spaces where a sounder alone would not be noticed. The unit is designed for wall mounting and connects to standard conventional sounder circuits. The strobe uses high-intensity LEDs for long service life and low current draw. Best for factories, workshops, warehouses and any building where audible alarms might be drowned out by machinery noise or where visual alerts are required by building code.

GLOBAL G3 PLUS FIRE ALARM SOUNDER WITH RED STROBE - The G3 Plus is a higher-output sounder strobe for larger spaces or areas with high ambient noise. The red strobe is designed to be visible from a distance, which makes it suitable for open-plan warehouses, production floors and outdoor covered areas. The unit supports multiple tone options and can be configured for different alert patterns depending on the application. Best for industrial facilities, loading docks, large warehouses and any environment where standard sounders are not loud enough to be heard over background noise. • EN54-2 - The European standard for fire detection and fire alarm control panels. Covers design, performance, testing and marking requirements. Global conventional and addressable panels meet this standard.
• EN54-4 - The European standard for power supply equipment for fire detection systems. Covers battery charging, backup duration and fault monitoring. Global panels carry EN54-4 certification for reliable backup power during mains failure.
• EN54-5 - The European standard for heat detectors. Covers response behaviour and classification for rate-of-rise and fixed temperature detection. Some Global detector models carry this certification.
• EN54-7 - The European standard for point smoke detectors using scattered light or ionisation. The AW CSD311 photoelectric smoke detector carries EN54-7 certification for its optical sensing chamber.
• EN54-13:2017+A1:2019 - The European standard for system compatibility. This is not a product certification but a system-level approval. • EN12094-1 - The European standard for fixed firefighting systems with automatic control. Some Global suppression control panels carry this certification for integration with gas or foam suppression systems.
• CE Marking - Confirms conformity with applicable EU health, safety and environmental regulations. Required for fire detection products sold within the European Economic Area and recognised by Pakistani industrial buyers and government inspectors.
• Operating Temperature Range - Global detectors are rated for operation from -30°C to 70°C, which covers the full range of Pakistani climates. This matters in northern areas where winter temperatures drop below freezing and in Sindh and Punjab where summer temperatures inside warehouses can exceed 50°C.
