• ASTM D120 - The American standard for rubber insulating gloves. Covers design, testing and marking requirements for gloves used in electrical work. The Linepro range meets this standard across Class 00, Class 0, Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3.
• EN 60903 - The European equivalent for electrical insulating gloves. Covers the same voltage classes but with slightly different testing protocols and thickness requirements. DPL certifies to both ASTM and EN because different Pakistani industries and export clients ask for different standards.
• APC 2 Arc Flash Protection - Assessed according to EN 61482-1-2. This rating confirms the glove can withstand the thermal effects of an electrical arc without igniting or melting. Class 0 and above carry APC 2, while Class 00 carries APC 1.
• A, C, Z Category Resistance - A covers acid resistance, C covers cold resistance down to -25°C and Z covers ozone resistance. These categories apply to Class 00 and Class 0 gloves.
• R, C Category Resistance - R covers oil resistance and C covers cold resistance. These categories apply to Class 1 and above, where oil exposure is more common in utility and industrial environments.
