The EN388:2016 rating of 4X43C confirms Level 5 cut resistance, meaning these gloves handle sharp metal edges, glass shards and blades without slicing through. The PU coating gives grip in dry and wet conditions, while the seamless knit construction keeps hands cool. Washable and skin-friendly, they hold up through repeated use. Best for construction, glass handling, metal fabrication, warehouse work and automotive repair.

PROTECTO RUBBER GUM BOOTS (₨1,500) - Full natural rubber construction from upper to outsole. Waterproof to the top, slip-resistant on wet and oily surfaces and resistant to certain oils and industrial chemicals. No steel toe, which makes them lighter and more flexible than safety boots. The smooth rubber surface wipes clean in seconds. Available in sizes EU 41 to 47. Best for agriculture, farming, chemical handling, gardening and general industrial work where toe protection is not required but waterproof coverage is.

Every Protecto product we stock carries at least one of these certifications. If a product page does not list the specific standard, ask us before you order.

• EN ISO 20345 S1P - The core European safety footwear standard for the Protecto Safety Shoes. S1P means steel toe protection rated to 200 joules, antistatic properties, oil resistance and a puncture-resistant midsole. This is the baseline for most industrial footwear in Pakistan.
• ESD Certification - Electrostatic discharge protection. Required in electronics manufacturing, automotive assembly and any environment where static sparks could ignite flammable vapours. The Protecto Safety Shoes carry ESD certification.
• SRC Slip Resistance - SRC combines SRA (ceramic tile with detergent) and SRB (steel floor with glycerine) slip tests. It is the highest slip resistance rating under EN ISO 20345. The Protecto Safety Shoes carry SRC rating.
• CI Cold Insulation - Keeps feet warm in refrigerated warehouses and cold storage facilities. The Protecto Safety Shoes carry CI certification, which matters for workers in food processing and cold chain logistics.
• EN388:2016 4X43C - The European standard for mechanical risks on gloves. The 4X43C rating breaks down as abrasion resistance 4, cut resistance X (indicating a more advanced test method), tear resistance 4, puncture resistance 3 and cut level C under ISO 13997. The Protecto Cut Resistant Gloves carry this rating, confirming Level 5 protection under the old EN388 scale.
• Natural Rubber Construction - The Protecto Rubber Gum Boots use full natural rubber rather than PVC or rubber-coated fabric. Natural rubber resists cracking at the flex point and holds up better in cold temperatures. It also provides better grip on wet surfaces than PVC alternatives.
