The Mobiak 6Lt Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is designed specifically for commercial kitchens and cooking oil fire risks (Class F). If you run a restaurant, hotel kitchen, catering business or food processing unit, you already know that a standard powder or foam extinguisher will not put out a cooking oil fire. Worse, it can splash burning oil and make things worse. Wet chemical agent reacts with hot oil to form a soap-like foam that smothers the fire and prevents re-ignition. This is the only type of extinguisher that should be used on Class F fires. It also handles Class A fires from wood, paper and textiles.
BSI Kitemark Certified for Commercial Kitchen Safety
The one-piece seamless vessel is built to withstand temperatures from -30°C to +60°C. The unit carries BSI Kitemark and NCP-KIWA certifications. The cylinder has an internal plastic coating that protects the wet chemical agent from corrosion. The valve is made from St14 steel and the cylinder body from CuZn40Pb2 brass. A safety valve set between 22 and 27 bar releases pressure if the unit gets over-pressurised. The RAL 3000 red finish makes it easy to spot in a busy kitchen.
